This is a great cake that is quick and easy to make. It satisfies the sweet tooth without all that gooey icing or filling that most cakes have. Good served a little warm with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream!


  • 2 Sticks Butter
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 Box Vanilla Wafers, crushed
  • 1 Cup Coconut
  • 1 Cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1/2 Cup Milk


  • Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat in milk. Fold in coconut and pecans.
  • Add and stir in crushed vanilla wafers. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for about 1 1/2 hours (or until done) at 325 degrees.
