1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
3 tablespoons veggie or coconut oil
4 tablespoons cocoa
1-teaspoon baking soda
1-cup organic sugar
2 bananas make sure they aren't super ripe, all yellow no green. Personally I think they mix better if they are a few days older.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into a lightly greased 8×8 pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. They are very cake like brownies and very yummy! You can also add in chocolate chips or nuts prior to putting it in the oven.

I made these for a friend once who was staying with us. I originally got the recipe online which was okay, we ended up making it 3 or 4 times in the week she was here, tweaking the recipe a little each time. I still haven't told my husband what the secret ingredient is; he would never eat them if he knew!
