Vegan Chocolate Pudding or topping
1/2 c. dark chocolate or vegan milk chocolate (made with plant milk). I have also used cocoa powder that works well. Add as much as you like to taste.
Add agave nectar, or maple syrup, or sorghum molasses
or other favorite sweetener to taste (the cook never goes hungry)
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Scoop out ripe avocado from it's rind and put in mixing bowl
Add melted chocolate (gently microwave for 15 seconds or so) or cocoa powder, increasing amount as desired. Taste often!
Add sweetener to taste, or none if you like
Stir very well and scoop into small dessert glasses. Refrigerate.
Pairs Well With
Avocado's are one of my all time favorites since I ditched dairy. The rich creamy texture can replace that delectable taste you might think you have to do without, when you become vegan. Not so! Don't believe it? Give it a try!
