VENISON ROAST

Ingredients

  • venison roast (trim fat or silver)
  • 1 pk. hot pork breakfast
  • sausages
  • 4 stks. green onion (chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp .parsley (chopped)
  • 1 pk. onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream mushroom soup
  • 2 cans sliced mushrooms
  • Tony's seasoning
  • flour

Directions

  • Marinate roast 48 hrs. if possible
  • with Italian wish bone dressing,
  • using a sharp pick to prick holes
  • in roast .To cook make a number
  • slits in the roast & stuff in the
  • following mixture . Pork, garlic,
  • green onion, parsley, black
  • Pepper & salt . Flour
  • roast well & place in a uncovered
  • dutch oven that is slightly oiled
  • with olive oil .Place in a 400 deg.
  • preheated oven to brown, turn
  • once .Brown about 25 minutes
  • per side Then add 1 cup water &
  • the onion soup mix , cream of
  • mushroom soup, sliced
  • mushrooms . Reduce heat to
  • 350 degrees cover & cook about
  • 4 hours . Add water if needed.
  • Gravy can be thickened with a
  • Little corn starch in water .
