WAFFLE FRENCH TOAST

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 8 to 10 slices bread
  • Waffle syrup

Directions

  • Preheat and lightly oil a waffle iron. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar and salt, then melted butter. Dip bread slices, one at a time, in egg mixture and drain. Bake in waffle iron 2 to 3 minutes, until brown. Serve with your favorite syrup. Yields 8 to 10 slices.
