2 McIntosh apples, peeled, cored and cut into bite-size pieces
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 cup seedless green or red grape halves
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
5 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 head lettuce, rinsed
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
Sprinkle apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Combine apples, celery, grapes and walnuts in a salad bowl; toss lightly.
Blend mayonnaise and salt; gently fold into fruit mixture.
Cover; chill until serving time.
Arrange lettuce leaves on individual salad plates.
Fold marshmallows into fruit mixture.
Spoon salad over lettuce and serve.
