Walnut Pie

Ingredients

½ cup butter
¾ cup sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
½ cup milk
⅛ cup corn syrup
⅛ cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 9” unbaked piecrust


1. Preheat oven to 350° F.


2. Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat; pour butter into a large mixing bowl.


3. Add sugar, brown sugar, milk, corn syrup, maple syrup, vanilla, salt, and eggs to mixing bowl; beat until well mixed.


4. Stir walnuts into mixture then pour mixture into piecrust; bake 45 to 55 minutes until filling is puffy.


5. Cool before serving (filling will shrink to original size while cooling
