Check your phone periodically on the third day
If not working, don't fret can take up to 10 days to work.

I was in DC for the Inauguration & dropped my iphone in the toilet... it was 4 am I was SO NOT awake! This is a great trick, think of those Silicone gel packets that come in boxes of everything you buy, well that's to absorb moisture, this is just a supersize version of it! 3 days later my phone worked again... SO COOL!

Do you place the battery in the rice also? How soon after you got the phone wet do you have to get it in the rice?
