- 2 doz. corn tortillas
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 c. sour cream
- salt, pepper and garlic salt, to taste
- cheese, if desired
- Combine ground beef, onion, pepper and seasonings. Roll into finger shapes
- and wrap a tortilla around each one; fasten with wooden toothpicks. Deep fry on medium heat until hamburger is done and shell is crispy; drain well. Serve hot, dipped in sour cream. I like to add cheese to mine! Cooks note: We substitue chicken for the beef for a bit of a change and sometimes we leave out the green bell peppers.
NotesThis is one of my husband's recipes. Men can come up with the most unique recipes and they are always very tasty even though they may not sound like it at first. These are like the taquitos from the frozen section of your grocery store... A wonderful quick and easy mean for anyone wanting to eat with their fingers!!!!
