Why I Love This Recipe
I found this recipe grazing Pinterest, after it lead me to a blog. It was very vague on exact quantities. Here is the interpretation of my own amounts. I found a recipe that is similar, but not exact, to the one I remember.
This frosting is great over Oreo Fudge Brownie Cake/Cupcakes or your favorite chocolate cake recipe! Also try it as a dip for graham crackers, chocolate crackers, animal crackers, apple slices, or celery sticks!
Ingredients You'll Need
1c Creamy Peanut Butter
1c Powdered Confectioners Sugar
5 Tbsp Butter, softened
3/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Salt
1 can Reddi-Whip Topping (original recipe recommends 1/3c Heavy Cream)
Directions
1) In a small mixing bowl, whisk together Peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
2) Add Reddi-Whip topping in a little at a time, whisking to combine, until desired consistency and taste is reached.
3) Make certain cakes are completely cooled before frosting. Frosting may be piped onto cupcakes using a pastry bag, or a large storage bag with the bottom corner slightly cut off. For cakes, spread evenly as desired.
I usually top cupcakes with bite-sized cookies, like Mini-Nutter Butter Cookies or Mini-Oreo Cookies Go-Packs!
