- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups dry white wine
- 1 pkg long grain and wild rice mix
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- In large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Add mushrooms and onions, cook 8 minutes, stirring frequently until mushrooms are tender. Stir in garlic, cook 1 minute.
- Stir in water and wine, bring just to a boil. Stir in rice, spice sack, and sage. Cover; reduce heat to low.
- Simmer 30-35 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat, stir in parsley.
