Wonderful Memphis-Style Dry Rub BBQ
1 TB paprika
2 tsp chili powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp pepper
Mix all ingredients together and store in a salt shaker. Sprinkle on both
sides of whatever meat you're cooking and grill or put in slow cooker.
After shaking the rub on the ribs, curl them up or cut them in half and coil
them around the crock pot. Cook on low for 9-10 hours.
Carefully take them out of crock pot (they will be falling off the bone) and
put them on a rack (I use a cookie cooling rack) on a cookie sheet. I use up
to 1/4 cup of sauce on each rack of ribs. Put under broiler for around 7-9
minutes, watch them so they don't burn. Voila! Best ribs I've ever tasted.
