- 2 large eggs at room temperature
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sifted flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup meat drippings
Beat eggs with milk. Thoroughly wisk in flour and salt. Put one tablespoon meat drippings into muffin pans and place in 450 degree oven until grease begins to smoke. Remove pan and fill each cup 2/3 full of batter. Bake 20 minutes or until browned and puffed. Be sure to use room temperature eggs and milk.
