Why I Love This Recipe

I love chili, and I just decided to make some simple chili with a few tweaks, and I totally love this recipe!!


Ingredients You'll Need

1/3 c. water (or beer)
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion (chopped)
1/2 chopped green pepper
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 finely chopped jalepeno pepper (optional)
1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 16 oz. can dark red kidney beans
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1/2 tsp. ground coriander
1 1/2 tsp. ground guajillo pepper (optional)

elbow macaroni (optional)


Directions

Cook ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic in large saucepan or skillet until meat is brown


Stir in undrained tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, and remaining spices


Bring to boiling, reduce heat


Cover, simmer for 20 minutes


Remove cover and cook for an additional 10-20 minutes


Cook macaroni as directed on packaging and mix in if desired.
