Zucchini Bars With Clove Frosting
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup butter or margarine, softened
½ tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground cloves
1 cup shredded zucchini, drained
½ cup chopped nuts
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 T. butter, softened
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
3-4 tsp milk
Mix all ingredients until smooth and spreadable.
Heat oven to 350º.
Grease bottom and sides of 9 inch square pan
Mix brown sugar, butter vanilla and egg in large bowl.
Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves.
Stir in zucchini and nuts
Spread in pan.
Bake 25-30 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool completely before frosting
