DIRECTIONS
cream suger and short. stir in eggs,nuts,dates,and spices. in large bowl sift flour baking soda, and salt stir in beer. combine beer mixture with creamed mixture and mix well bake in a large tube pan at 350 for 1 hour and 15 min. if desired ice with whipped cream.
