Ingredients

2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablesoond flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
about 2 cups fresh or frozen peas


melt butter in saucepan add flour and salt stir well untel combined add milk and bring to a boil stir untel slightley thickened stir in cooked peas serve over mashed potato if you wish .

Hi Carolyn, my family has always made this also, we usually add cubed cooked potatoes right in it. I remember sitting right in my great grandmother's garden and shelling and eating the peas right there!
