green chile chicken chimichangas
1 can of cream of mushroom
1 can of cream of chicken
green chili( however much you want to put in )
milk (depends on how thick or runny you want it to be)
garlic,salt,pepper & onion pwder
colby and monterrey jack cheese
for the meat chicken( can be canned but i prefer roasted,or you can use ground beef)
Heat oven to 350*
combine cream of mushroom and chicken, green chili ,seasonings
and milk. just till it gets warm
in another pan sautee onions till translucent. add chicken just to heat up. when finished scoop some chicken into tortilla add a little of cheese roll the tortilla up. put in a casserole dish. repeat until your are done with meat mixture. once all the tortillas are in the casserole dish. Pour all of the sauce over the chimichangas.use your fork to make sure all the chili sauce gets in between the chimichangas. then add cheese on top of dish.
put in the oven til the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbly.
i usually make ten chimis in a casserole dish. i have 6 people in my family. hope you enjoy
