BackstoryBack when my two nephew's and nieces were in preshcool there preshcool one of the funraiser's was making a cookbook. They gather recipes from parent's ,teacher's and even Aunt's and also Grandparent's. I didn't about this cookbook until one day at the annual Memorial Day Book Sale our little town of Dansville,Michigan has every memorial day. This one time they had a row of this preshcool cookbook's when I seen this,I picked up right away flipped through it when I seen the names in it and some of the recipes I getting this for myself. This how we found this recipe.
- 2c. Dry Powdered Milk
- 1 stick of butter
- 2c. sugar
- 1c. boiling water
- Blend well powdered milk, butter, sugar, and water.Keep refrigerator. 1 1/2 cups. equal 1 can. *NOTE; There is a few things that my brother' does differently then it even mention here.First of all he does put all that together, but he also cook's the mixture to make sure the sugar is dissolve's.I believe he does this to make sure that evrything is smooth and creamy side to it.He also, but two other ingredients that it doesn't call for they are 1/2 to 1t.salt and 1t.vanilla extract. These two ingrendients are inportant to a recipe without them your recipe could be almost tasteless.
