"Mother's Sour Cream Raisin Pie"

Serves 4 to 6 servings | Prep Time 30 minutes | Cook Time 55 minutes


2 slightly beaten eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 t. salt
1T. cinnamon
1/2 t.nutmeg
1/4 t. cloves
1 cup sour cream
1c. raisins
1 pie shell

Bake pie shell at 425* 15 minutes.Then turn down the oven to 400*.Mix all ingredients together and pour into the baked shell .Bake at 400* for 40 minutes minutes.

This one of our mother's own recipe's and believe it or not she wrote the amount's and ingredient's down.For this is usual for our mother since she was one of them cook's who never measured she alway's used her hand's and her head they back then.To find this is a rare fine indeed.
