"ROUX"...THICKENING FOR GRAVY

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons Kitchen Bouquet

Directions

  • Mix together all 3 ingredients until well blended.
  • Put in quart container and refrigerate.
  • Use enough in broth for desired thickness.

Notes

This isn't really a recipe per say, But one to have on hand to thicken broth for gravy.
