A Gouda Ham Mac & Cheese
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 20 minutes
  • Servings: 3
  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  • 1 box mac and cheese or other pasta of your choice
  • 3 Tbsp 1% milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ¾ c frozen peas
  • ½ c diced ham
  • ¼ c shredded smoked Gouda
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ½ c panko bread crumbs
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook pasta per package directions, adding peas 1 minute before removing from heat.
  2. Drain pasta and peas.
  3. Make sauce as directed with milk and butter, and combine with pasta and peas.
  4. Add ham, Gouda, and paprika. Stir to combine
  5. Place in an ovenproof casserole dish and top with bread crumbs. Broil until top is golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes.
