Apple And Cheese Casserole

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 7 apples -- peeled, sliced
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preparation:
  2. Mix flour, sugar and salt in small blow. Cut in butter until crumbly. Toss apples with water and lemon juice in bowl. Spoon into greased 8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with flour mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 5 minutes longer.
