Apple Salad

INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 9-12
  • 1 20 oz can of Crushed Pineapple undrained
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 3 oz. package Lemon Jello
  • 1 8 oz package Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup diced unpeeled Apples
  • 1/2 - 1 cup chopped Nuts
  • 1 cup chopped Celery
  • 1 cup Whipped Topping
  • Lettuce Leaves
DIRECTIONS
  1. In saucepan combine pineapple & sugar
  2. Boil 3 minutes
  3. Add Jello and stir until dissolved
  4. Add Cream Cheese and stir until mixture is thoroughly combined.
  5. Cool
  6. Fold in Apples, Nuts, Celery & Whipped Cream
  7. Pour into a 9 inch square pan and chill until firm
  8. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves
