Autumn Apple Salad

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 (3 oz.) lemon jello
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 c. apples, chopped fine
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine pineapple and sugar in saucepan.
  2. Boil 3 minutes and stir while boiling.
  3. Add jello and stir until dissolved.
  4. Add cream cheese.
  5. Stir until smooth.
  6. Let cool 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Add nuts, apples, and Cool Whip.
  8. Pour into 8x8 inch square pan.
  9. Keep in refrigerator.
