Bacon and Egg Casserole

  • 4 cups plain croutons
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 slices bacon
DIRECTIONS
  1. Grease a rectangular casserole dish. Combine the croutons and cheese. Put them in the buttered casserole dish. Combine the milk, eggs, salt, mustard, onion powder and pepper. Mix this very well and pour over the croutons and cheese. Now, cook the bacon until it is crisp. Then crumble the bacon over the top of the casserole. Put some extra cheese on top if you like and bake in 350 degree oven for about an hour, covered.
