Beef Stew

INGREDIENTS
  • 5 carrots, sliced
  • 8 potatoes, cubed
  • 2 pound beef stew meat
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 chopped medium onions
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch or flour
  • 1/3 cup water
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine all ingredients except cornstarch and 1/3 cup water in slow cooker. Stir thoroughly.
  2. Cover and cook 8-9 hours on low.
  3. Mix cornstarch and 1/3 cup water thoroughly till lumps are gone. Stir into meat mixture. Cook on high till sauce is thickened (10-15 minutes).
