Butter Pecan Cookies
INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 4 dozen
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  2. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  3. Stir in pecans.
  4. Drop dough by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake at 375° for about 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  6. Makes about 4 dozen butter pecan cookies.
