INGREDIENTS
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix above ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Shape into two logs.
  3. Refrigerate.
  4. When firm, slice thin and bake at 350 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes.

We make these every Christmas, they are so good, we love them sliced thin and baked crispy my nieces slice them thicker and like them that way.
