CRAB APPETIZER ON ARTICHOKE BOTTOMS
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 can (6 1/2 oz.) lump crab
  • meat
  • 2 stalks celery heart, finely
  • chopped
  • 1 tsp. minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • mayonnaise to bind
  • 1 can artichoke bottoms
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. softened cream
  • cheese
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. minced onion
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix crab meat with celery heart, onion, lemon juice and mayonnaise.
  2. Place mixture on artichoke bottoms.
  3. Mix together cream cheese, mustard, egg yolk and onion until creamy.
  4. Spreadn carefully on top of crab mixture in the artichoke bottoms.
  5. Broil on bottom rack until lightly browned.
