Cambria Buttered Noodles

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pound extra wide noodles
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 Tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons dill weed
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile heat butter in a large skillet.
  3. Add mushrooms, garlic and dill.
  4. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add port, chicken broth and lemon juice.
  6. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Blend in hot pasta, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
