Candy Cane Cake
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1/2 tsp red food color
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tub of Cream Cheese Icing
  • Crushed candy canes
  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.* Grease and flour a 12 cup bundt pan. Make cake mix as directed on box. Pour 2 cups batter into pan. Into bowl, pour 3/4 cup batter, stir in food color and peppermint extract. Pour pink batter over white batter in pan. Pour remaining white batter over pink batter.
  2. Bake 42 min. or until done. Cool 10 min. Remove from pan to serving plate. Cool 1 hour. Spread icing over cake, allowing some to drizzle down side and then top with crushed candy canes.
