Caramel Corn
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup light cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  1. Bring to a boil while stirring the sugar, syrup and water.
  2. Add 1/2 cup light cream.
  3. Cook til hard ball stage, remove from heat and add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
  4. Drizzle over popped popcorn and mix
This is my mother's recipe. It was always a very special treat for us when Mom made this. We always knew when we saw the note for the milkman to leave cream that this would be made soon.
