Caramel Sauce

INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 25 to 35
  • 1-1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 c. cream, warmed
  • 6 T. butter
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a large skillet over medium low heat, combine
  2. the sugar and water.
  3. Simmer stirring frequently for 10 - 15 minutes or until brown.
  4. Remove from heat and slowly add the cream, stirring rapidly to blend.
  5. Add the butter.
  6. Return to heat and simmer,stirring frequently for another 15 - 20 minutes until thickened.
