Cheesy scalloped potatoes

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt&pepper
DIRECTIONS
  1. Grease 13x9 baking dish and preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Peel and thinly slice potatoes
  3. Layer potatoes and shredded cheese
  4. Make sauce by melting butter, sifting in flour, and gradually adding milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste and pour over potato casserole
  6. Bake in oven for approx 1 hour, or until potatoes are tender
