Cherry Choclate Cake
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 35-40 minutes
  • 1 package chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can(21oz)cherry fie filling
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 package (6oz)semi- sweet chocolate piece
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine cake mix,eggs,and pie filling.
  2. Mix until well blended
  3. pour in a 9x13 pan
  4. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes
  5. Frost when cool.
  6. In sauce pan combine sugar,butter,milk to boil,
  7. stir constantly for 1 minute
  8. remove from heat stir in chocolate pieced until melted and smooth
  9. spread over cake
  10. add cherry's or 6oz choc chip over on top- of cooled cake for garnish if desired
RECIPE BACKSTORY
My mother in law makes this cake every year for my husband's birthday,and has since he was a child.It is a delicious cake if you like cherry's and chocolate !!!
