Chianti Marinara

- 1 yellow onion chopped
- 2t minced garlic
- 1/2 c chianti wine
- 1 (16 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 T parsley minced
- 2t salt
- 1t pepper
- 1/2 T lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
- 1. Heat some olive oil in a large pot
- 2. Add onions cook about 10 min until clear
- 3. Add garlic cook only about 1 min
- 4. Add Chianti and cook on high until all liquid is absorbed (caution it will smell bad while the alcohol burns off)
- 5. Add tomatoes, parsley,salt, pepper and lemon juice
- 6. turn heat to med-low and bring to boil until it boils
- 7. then its all done!!
