Chocolate Chip Cookies In A Jar Mix (Gift Idea)
INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Quart Mason Jar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
DIRECTIONS
  1. Sift the flour with salt and baking soda
  2. Add a layer to bottom of 1 Quart Mason Jar
  3. Then layer other ingredents to get multicolored layers
  4. I usually end with the chocolate chips on top
  5. Print up the following instructions and give with Jar:
  6. Chocolate Chip Cookies 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). 2. In a large bowl, cream 1 cup of unsalted butter or margarine until light and fluffy. Beat in 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Mix in cookie mix. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough, spaced well apart, onto a greased cookie sheet. 3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven, or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
