Chocolate Crunch Bars

INGREDIENTS
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ½ cup pecans
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pkg chocolate chips (6 oz)
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cup rice Krispies
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Stir together flour, nuts, cocoa, baking powder, salt.
  5. Stir into egg mixture.
  6. Spread into 13x9 pan.
  7. Bake at 350 for 15-20 min.
  8. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly on top.
  9. Bake 5 min more, cool.
  10. In saucepan, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter. Add cereal and spread mixture on top of cooled bars.
  11. Chill and store in fridge.
