Chocolate Frosting

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 sq chocolate
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/3 cup milk
- Pinch salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Put all ingredients into pan and bring to a rolling boil.
- Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly
- Cool and stir until it reaches the right consistency
- If too hard to spread on cake, mix a little hot cream or milk to thin
- Add nuts if desired
