Coffee Cake Cinnamon Muffins

  • Full box Dassant Cinnamon Chip Bread Mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup water
  • For Topping
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 stick refrigerated butter, cut into small pieces
DIRECTIONS
  1. For Muffins
  2. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  3. Whisk together egg and water.
  4. Add mix and fold together.
  5. Pour batter 2/3 full into standard paper lined muffin cups.
  7. For Topping
  8. Blend flour and sugar in food processor or blend together with pastry blender.
  9. Add butter and blend until thoroughly combined. Sprinkle on tops of muffins and bake for 14-16 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean.
  10. Topping should be crisp.
  11. Cool and serve.
