Cookie Dough Truffles

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/2 pounds semisweet chocolate candy coating, chopped
DIRECTIONS
  1. In mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add flour, milk and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  4. Shape into 1-inch balls; place on wax paper-lined baking sheets.
  5. Loosely cover; refrigerate 1-2 hours until firm.
  6. In microwave-safe bowl, melt candy coating, stirring often until smooth.
  7. Dip balls in coating; place on wax paper-lined baking sheets.
  8. Refrigerate until firm, about 15 minutes.
  9. If desired, re-melt candy coating; drizzle over candies.
  10. Store in refrigerator.
