Crullers
INGREDIENTS
  • 1egg (well beaten)
  • 1 Tsp butter or margarine(melted)
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • flour
  • 1/8tsp salt
  • 3 Tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine egg, butter, salt, sugar, and spices. Beat thoroughly.
  2. Add sifted flour to make a stiff dough.
  3. Turn onto lightly floured board.
  4. Roll in sheet ¼inch thick.
  5. Cut in strips 2½ by 3inches.
  6. Make 4 or 5 lengthwise gashes nearly to the ends.
  7. Run your fingers in and out of the gashes, push strips together a little, and slip into hot grease(365 degrees).
  8. Fry until brown.
  9. Drain on crumpled absorbent paper. Enjoy!
