Delicious And Easy Chicken Marsala

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 chicken breast halves
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup marsala wine
  • 1/3 cup sherry
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a freezer/storage bag, combine flour and herbs. Add chicken breasts to bag and coat with flour mixture.
  2. In a large skillet, melt EVOO and butter together, over medium heat. Add minced garlic, and then add chicken pieces. Brown chicken on one side (2-3 minutes), then flip over. Add sliced mushrooms and wine. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 minutes. Flip chicken 1 or two times during simmer.
