INGREDIENTS
- 1cup boiling water
- 2cups sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 2Ã 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla;
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all ingredients together adding boiling water last. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45min. or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool. Garnish as desired. Enjoy!
