Dishwasher-poached salmon

  • Servings: About 4
  • 5 to 6 lbs fresh salmon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 sliced lemon
DIRECTIONS
  1. Clean and rinse your salmon as you normally would
  2. Add the other ingredients
  3. Roll tightly in a large piece of cling film and place in the dishwasher
  4. Run your dishwasher on a 45mn, 70°C/160°F cycle

No, I'm not kidding. You can really poach your salmon in the dishwasher, and it turns out more tender, tasty and moist than in the oven or steam-cooked. It's safer to poach your salmon in an empty dishwasher, however, preferably without any rinse product either.
