Dressing for Turkey

  • 12 oz diced onion
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 4 cups diced celery
  • 4 cups crumbled cord bread
  • 4 cups toasted (dried and crushed) bread (1 large loaf)
  • 1 tablespoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 5 eggs
  • 12 cups broth
DIRECTIONS
  1. Saute onion in oleo.
  2. Mix corn bread and toast. Add celery, onions, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix add broth from turkey. add eggs one at a time, mixing after each egg. Put in a large pan and bake at 300 for about 30 minutes until brown.
