Gingerbread
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup pure molasses
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 cups plain flour
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cream sugar and margarine.
  2. Add beaten eggs, molasses, and milk.
  3. Stir dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture. Bake in greased and floured pan in a 350F oven for 30 minutes or until tests done.
  4. Best served with fresh whipped cream
