Grandma Long's Cranberry Salad

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 pint raw cranberries
  • 1 apple
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • juice of one orange
DIRECTIONS
  1. Grind together the walnuts, cranberries and apple.
  2. Add the sugar and orange juice.

My grandmother was a very good cook, well, wasn't everyones? When I was young I didn't appreciate this recipe, now that I am older, and she is gone, I truly appreciate this recipe.
