Green Bean Casserole
- 1 can (10 ¾ ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 4 cups cooked green beans
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup milk
- 1 1/3 cups French fried onions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix the soup, milk and pepper in a 1 ½ quart casserole dish. Stir in green beans and 2/3 cup of the fried onions.
- Bake the entire casserole for 25 to 30 minutes. Pull the casserole out of the oven and add the remaining fried onions (some people add the onions to the top and others only place them around the sides of the pan).
- Continue baking for another five minutes or until the onions turn lightly brown on top.
